Former Lions QB Joe Paopao back in den as receivers coach
The BC Lions announced that they are bringing back their former QB and Head Coach Joe Paopao as receivers coach. Paopao was most recently head coach of
the Waterloo Warriors of the CIS, a position he held since 2012, initially joining them in 2007 as their Offensive Coordinator.

Joe Paopao, the Throwin' Samoan as he was known in his heyday, was the Lions QB in the late 70s and early 80s. He also played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Ottawa Rough Riders.
